2. Application
The tromethamine salt of dinoprost, having the same actions as the base; used as an oxytocic for induction of labor, termination of pregnancy, missed abortion, fetal death, and hydatidiform mole. It is administered intravenously, extra-amniotically, or intra-amniotically. Called also d. trometanol and prostaglandin F2α tromethamine.
