Corydalis is a tuberous early flowering east Asian flowering plant species. Its extract native range is obscure dueto taxonomic confusion. It is one of the sources of the drug tetrahydropalmatine. Corydalis Extract contains a variety of alkaloids including corynoline, acetylcorynoline dcorydalin, ditetrahydropalmatine, protopine, tetrahydrocoptisine, dietrrahydrocoptisine, dcorybulbine and allocrytopine.
